In September 2022, The DOT Corp was honored to be on The Civic 50 OC, a list of the 50 most community minded companies in Orange County.

At The DOT, being community minded means supporting organizations and initiatives in the community that are important to our employees and business partners. Throughout the year, the company donates resources to organizations that our employees and partners have a vested interest in.

We’ve partnered with our client Wahoo’s Fish Tacos to support California Love Drop and High School Inc. We’ve connected our retail clients, such as OMG Accessories, with organizations that need product donations. We also offer discounts on certain services to our nonprofit clients.

During the holidays, The DOT Corp has forgone client gifts and instead given clients and business partners the opportunity to have a donation made in their name. The DOT selects three organizations, some local and some national, and clients get to determine where they want their donation made. It’s been a wonderful experience to not only support these organizations but to also learn more about what is important to our client base.

Our company’s passion for community engagement comes directly from our employees. The Community Bridge Program allows employees to submit volunteer hours to The DOT, and the company will then give a financial donation to that organization. The Community Bridge team also orchestrates various service projects, such as a Diaper Drive done for OC Rescue Mission over the summer.

The DOT has been an Orange County company since its beginning in 1980. We consider it a responsibility, a joy and a privilege to engage with our community and give back to organizations that work tirelessly to improve the lives of our neighbors. We value the input of our employees, clients and partners, and we look to them for guidance on which organizations and initiatives with which to engage.
