Ruben Gonzalez, a sales rep at The Dot Corp, was given the prestigious Large Business Leader of the Year Award by the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. Ruben, along with several other Orange County business, nonprofit and education leaders, was honored at the 9th annual Difference Makers Luncheon on April 11th.

Ruben Gonzalez is a 33 year veteran in the fulfillment, printing, promotions and marketing industry. Ruben started with The Dot in 1996, and helped to build the fulfillment and mailing division form a start up to market leading organization with year over year profitable growth. The Dot offers product and literature fulfillment, direct mail and printing solutions.

Ruben is currently and proudly serving as the Business Partner Champion and Senior Class Mentor at Valley High School for High School Inc. The goal of the Global Business Academy (GBA) is to provide students a thorough understanding of what it is like to start a business from the ground up and what it takes to operate successfully. Through a project-based, or "linked learning" approach, students explore the concepts of developing a business plan, creating a marketing plan, creating a new product or service, and marketing it to the potential buyers.

Ruben also serves as an Executive Board Member and Industry Vice-Chair for the Santa Ana United States Postal Customer Council. The Postal Customer Council members meet and communicate information, ideas and best practice suggestions on new Postal Service products and services and their own internal operations. This interaction provides productive money-saving and revenue-generating ideas to enhance their use of Postal Services products and services to meet their business needs.

In addition to all of that, Ruben serves as an Advisory Member of Executive Next Practices Institute. The Executive Next Practices Institute (ENP) and research to all major industries. The Institute, in partnership with academic institutions such as Pepperdine University, research partners (Gallup, PWC) and corporate members (Bank of America, Stanley Black & Decker) produces the ENP Forums. ENP Forum membership is by invitation only and is composed of landed C-suite executives, director level and above functional executives and community leaders. The Dot Corp is a long term partner of the forum providing print, mailing, fulfillment and 3rd party logistics support and consulting.
