Exciting news from USPS! As of August 29, 2021, the maximum size for mailing category First-Class Mail - Postcard has increased from 4 ¼” x 6” to 6” x 9”. This means you can now send postcards as large as 6”x9” at the postcard rate instead of the letter rate.
This maximum size increase applies only to postcards mailed First Class. The maximum size postcard for commercial mailings remains 6 ⅛” x 11 ½”.
Many of our clients enjoy mailing First Class because of the speed of delivery, as well as added services like return to sender and address correction. This increased maximum size gives all the benefits of First Class now with more room to effectively communicate, promote, inform.
